High School Seniors and Families
For more than 70 years, the Community Scholarship Fund of Pleasantville has provided financial awards to graduating high school seniors who plan to continue their education at institutions of higher learning or professional training/apprenticeship. With education costs continuing to rise, there is an ever-increasing need for help with these expenses. On average we have been awarding about $30,000 per year.
The Community Scholarship Fund is accepting scholarship applications between Monday April 7th and Monday April 28th from the high school class of 2025.
You are eligible to apply for a Community Scholarship award if you:
1.Are graduating from high school in 2025
2.Attend Pleasantville High School or reside within the Pleasantville Union Free School District; and,
3.Plan to attend college or professional training school in the fall of 2025.
Application Process
Applicants within the school district of Pleasantville can locate the application and instructions at

•Meet all deadlines
•Submit your completed application and all attachments by email to pvillecsfapplication@gmail.com no later than 11:00 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2025

5/1 – 5/11- Selection Committee meets and reviews applications and makes decisions

6/20- Pleasantville High School Graduation Ceremony: Truslow Hyde Award Winner Announced
